I just signed up but I'm already behind.
This week's:
Do you do your stash shopping at your LNS, ONS, or both? Which do you like better? Why?
I do most of my shopping at ONS (if that stands for online needlework stores) because the LNS's here in Iceland are more or less small and oldfashion. That said I do buy small things at LNS, like few skeins or little things like that but fabric and patterns I buy exclusively online because I can't get what I want here and what is available is expensive. I wish I could shop more locally because I would like to support them, I just don't like the stuff they carry. I do, however, shop for knitting yarn locally because the selection is pretty good.
Last week's:
How do you balance your stitching time with your other obligations such as work, household chores, etc.?
Work first, play later. I only do crafts in the evening. In the day time I try to work as much as possible, when the baby sleeps. Chores? You're supposed to do those too? he he
Few week's ago:
Take a minute to reflect on your blog reading habits and preferences. What do you prefer to read in stitching blogs? (Progress, tips, family life, experiences, etc.) How much do you think you are influenced by other stitching bloggers?
I am very much influenced by stitching, knitting and crochet blogs. I learn about patterns, yarns, threads and such I was not aware of before. I prefer to read about WIPs and a picture is very important. I find that blog reading is detrimental to stitching time :)
